Acceptable List of Documents for Aadhaar Enrolment and Update If you are looking to enroll for Aadhaar or update your Aadhaar, here is a full list of acceptable documents for these purposes. For Aadhaar enrolment and update, UIDAI accepts a specified set of documents to verify an individual’s Identity, Address, Relationship, Date of Birth etc. Applicants must submit the Proof of Identity (PoI) and Proof of Address (PoA) documents as prescribed by the UIDAI. These documents are categories based on the age group of the individual to ensure accurate and standardised verification across all Aadhaar centres. These categories are: List I: Documents that may be presented to evidence Proof of Identity, Address, Relationship, or Date of Birth for Aadhaar enrolment of children up to 5-years of age. List II: Documents that may be presented to evidence Proof of Identity, Address, Relationship, or Date of Birth for Aadhaar enrolment of individuals above 5-Years but but below 18years of age.
