1. Aadhaar Lock/Unlock
The Aadhaar App now provides residents with the ability to lock and unlock their Aadhaar using Virtual ID (VID). When Aadhaar is locked, biometric and demographic authentication requests are blocked, reducing the risk of unauthorised use. Whenever authentication is required, residents can conveniently unlock Aadhaar through the app using VID and Face Authentication, giving them complete control over when and how their Aadhaar is used.
